What Is the Tub's Capacity?Most types hold 60 to 65 gallons without a person in the tub.

How Quickly Does the Tub Drain?Properly plumbed tubs in most situations would drain in 90 seconds with our 2" drain versions.

What Size Water Heater Is Required?A minimum of a 40-gallon gas water heater or a 60-gallon electric water heater is recommended.

Is There a Weight Restriction for the Tub?No.

How Many Air Jets Are There in the Bathtub?There are 16 jets in the air-jetted tub.

What Is the Tub Composed Of?Acrylic with ABS and fibreglass backing, which comes in a smooth finish. The door jambs have all aluminum construction. The tub frame is made of stainless steel.

What Sets Safety Bath Walk-in Bathtubs Apart from Other Ones?Our Safety Bath products are manufactured from high-quality, durable materials. An example is our unique aluminium door system. Most of our walk-in tubs also come with a high-flow tap.

How Do I Clean the Tub?A soft cloth with mild soap and water is all you need for everyday cleaning. Always rinse after cleaning. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive/caustic cleaners. Vinegar and water may also be used to soften water minerals. To disinfect, use bleach diluted with water to sanitize.

May I Use Soaps or Bath Oils?Yes, however, we recommend that you sanitize the tub after using these products.

What Colours Are Available for the Tubs?You can choose any colour you like, as long as it's white.

What Is the Fill Time?Our valve has a 14 GPM (gallon per minute) rating. With full water flow, it will take about 4 minutes to fill.

What Finishes Are Available for the Faucet and Hardware?A chrome finish is available for the faucet and other hardware.

Are Safety Bath Products CSA- and UL-certified for Canada and the US?Safety Bath has CSA (Canadian Standards Association) for Canada and the US and ANSI (American National Standards)/UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approval on the bathtubs and on all the components of the bathtub. CSA marks mean a product has been tested and met applicable safety and/or performance standards. CSA International is accredited by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). CSA International tests to applicable U.S. standards.
